If4x-2y=6, then y =?

Y= -3 + 2x or Y= 2x + 3

4x-2y=6, move the x to the other side by subtracting 4x from both sides

-2y=-4x+6, leave the y by itself and divide by -2, since that’s what y is being multiplied by

you get y=2x-3
