the slope is -4/3
Move the X to the other side to leave y by itself. you’re left with 3y=-4x-7, divide by 3 in order to once again,leave the y by itself, youre left with y=-4/3x-7/3 but since you want the slope, it is the number next to the x

Answer:
y=
-(4)/(3)x-(7)/(3), so
-(4)/(3) is your slope!

Explanation:

It's best to get this equation in slope-intercept form, meaning to solve for y.

My work is shown below, as to how I solve for y.

4x + 3y = -7

3y = -7 - 4x

Afterward, divide the other side by 3.

y = (-4/3)x (-7/3)

That's how you get the answer. Hope this helped.

As, y = mx + b, and the m stands for the slope, -4/3 is your slope.
