Answer: " x = 13 . "
________

Explanation:

Given:
" (8x−44) + (8x−44) + (8x−44) = 180 " ;
Rewrite as follows:

↔ 1(8x−44) + 1(8x−44) + 1(8x−44) = 180 ;

↔ [ 1(8x−44) + 1(8x−44) ] + 1(8x−44) = 180 ;

⇒ 2(8x−44) ] + 1(8x−44) = 180 ;

↔ 3 [8x−44] = 180 ;

Now, divide Each Side of the equation by "3" ;

to simplify the equation by 'canceling out' the 3 on the 'left-hand' side:
→ 3(8x − 44) / 3 = 180 / 3 ;

get: 8x − 44 = 60 ;

Now, add 44 to Each Side of the equation:
8x − 44 + 44 = 60 + 44 ;

to get: " 8x = 104 " ;
Now, divide Each Side of the equation by "8" ; to isolate "x" on one side of the equation; and to solve for "x" ;

8x / 8 = 104/ 8 ;

to get : x = 13 .

Hope this is helpful to you! Best of luck!
