The trick to drawing a usable graph of this relation is to figure what values of x and y may be of interest. When there is no context for the graph, it is often useful to show the x- and y-intercepts. Each can be found by setting the other variable to 0.

x-intercept = -1600/7 = -228 4/7

y-intercept = -1600/-400 = 4

The slope is 7/400, so the graph is nearly flat when x- and y- axis scaling is the same.
