For the piecewise function, find the values g(-7), g(3), and g(9).

g(x) =
X+5, for x<=3
9-x, for x>3

Answer:

if value of x is less than or equal to 3, we will use first equation and if it's greater than we will use second.

So, g(x)=x+5

g(-7)=-7+5=2

g(3)=3+5=8

here we will use second formula because x is 9, which is greater than 3

g(9)=9-x

=9-9

=0
