The Equation P= 2.5m + 35 represents the price P (in dollars) of a bracelet, where m is the cost of the materials (in dollars). The price of a bracelet is $115. What is the cost of the materials?

The cost of materials is $32.

Explanation:

You can solve this in a simple manner:

115 = 2.5m + 35

115-35 = 2.5m

80 = 2.5m

m = 32

You can check your answer by putting 32 back into the equation(P=2.5m+35) and you should get 115(which is price of bracelet)
