Think about a lake. Would you describe it as a homogeneous mixture, a heterogeneous mixture, or both? Explain.

it’s a heterogeneous mixture, because you cannot reverse it or take it apart in any way. your eyes cannot distinctly tell apart the particles it is make up of.

Answer:People often visualize a lake as a uniform mass of water, almost like a full bathtub that is evenly mixed from top to bottom, side to side and front to back.

Explanation: Lakes are extremely heterogeneous, or patchy. The physical, chemical, and biological characteristics of lakes are extremely variable.
