Step 1 : Find the smallest numbers that can be multiplied to get each number. For example, 24 = 2×2×2×3, the smallest multiples of 24 are 2 and 3. Then when you find for all, you collect the multiple that's present in all. If the common multiple is more than one , you multiply. E.g
24 = 2×2×2×3
36 = 2×2×3×3
54 = 2×3×3×3
The common multiple is 2 and 3, you'll have to multiply them both together. Greatest Common Divisor is then 2 × 3 = 6.
