If there is 1/3 of quantity A for every 4/9 of quantity B, how much of quantity A is there for 2/5 of quantity B?

Explanation:

Find out how many 4/9 ths there are

2/5 / 4/9 = 2/5 * 9/4 = 18/20

Now multiply the number of 4/9ths ( which is 18/20) by 1/3

1/3 * 18/20 = 6/20 = 3/10ths of A
