a)I WILL USE THE THEOREM OF PYTHAGORAS IN TRIANGLE BCD

{y}^(2) = {(5.3)}^(2) - {(4.4)}^(2) \\ {y}^(2) = 28.9 - 19.36 \\ {y}^(2) = 9.54 \\ y = √(9.54) \\ y = 3.09

y=3.90cm

b)

\sin(x) = (cb)/(ac) \\ \sin(x) = (5.3)/(8.2) \\ x = sin^( - 1) ( (5.3)/(8.2) ) \\ x =40.27

x=40,27 cm

GOODLUCK.
