So the equation shown: y=x-6 is in slope intercept form (y=mx+b)
m is the slope and would be 1 in this equation.
b is the y intercept and would be -6 in this equation. Draw a dot at -6 on the y-axis and go right 1, up 1. Then down 1, left 1 to continue on the left side of the y axis
