Answer:

x = 16 , x = 8 , x = 72.5

Explanation:

(4)

The triangle has 2 congruent sides and is therefore isosceles with 2 base angles being congruent, both 32°

The sum of the 3 angles in the triangle = 180°

Sum the 3 angles and equate to 180

x + 32 + 32 = 180

x + 64 = 180 ( subtract 64 from both sides )

x = 16

(4)

The triangle has 3 congruent sides and is therefore equilateral.

Equate any 2 sides and solve for x

12x - 22 = 10x - 6 ( subtract 10x from both sides )

2x - 22 = - 6 ( add 22 to both sides )

2x = 16 ( divide both sides by 2 )

x = 8

(5)

The triangle has 2 congruent sides and is isosceles with 2 base angles congruent, both x , then

x + x + 35 = 180

2x + 35 = 180 ( subtract 35 from both sides )

2x = 145 ( divide both sides by 2 )

x = 72.5
