Read the following case study, and provide an explanation for the judge's decision in this case. Your decision should make reference to 6 legal concepts / terminology.

On August 15, 2008, Britney Spears appeared in court for assaulting a fan at a concern in late 2006. Ms. Spears was crying in court as closing arguments were being made. In his ruling, the judge said that Ms. Spears' tears indicated that she was truly remorseful. Furthermore, the sadness and regret she felt was punishment enough. As she exited the courtroom the judge said, "loved your last album by the way!" Puzzled by the decision, the court clerk asked the judge why he had been so lenient. The judge responded, "It's an issue of fairness. It's not easy being rich and famous and constantly harassed by fans. Besides, it's the bums on the street and Greek immigrants that we really need to worry about when it comes to criminal activity." The crown (prosecuting attorneys) has appealed the case to a higher court.

Answer:

The Judge has a point it isn't easy when you are constantly being harrassed by fans or maybe even people who don't like you probably saying some pretty nasty things. That still isn't a reason to get off scott free she should've gotten like community service or somthing small. And I do agree with the crown to take it to a higher court.
