Personally my opinion is a 50/50. The idea of facial recognition software to confirm someones identity not only could reduce the wait times at airports, but also probably solve a lot of federal crimes. Meaning that detectives won't be stuck with a unsolvable cases for years but to actually be able to solve them. The other side is that this may intrude in people's personal privacy, causing a lot of problems with the government, law enforcement, or just any kind of agency or business.
