I'd say meoisis is better than mitosis. Meosis allows us to have more variety as it produces our 4 sperm cells and egg cell which bring about you and everyone else with a variety of charcterisits you either could have and that make you different as well as you can carry on different traits from prevoius generations with some alterations fitting your environment. For your question, you can just say that mitosis could be better because it develops replicas of the cells which can help in healing wounds and for growth and differentiation of cells which basically promotes growth and health and completion of many organs when talking about you in the womb it's mitosis that creates us and our organs... hope this helps.
