Slope formula is given as (y2-y1) ÷ (x2-x1) or (y1-y2) ÷ (x1-x2), where x and y are the coordinates of the points.

Slope = (-7-(-6)) ÷ (0-(-8))

= (-7+6) ÷ (0+8)

= -1/8
