I believe the answer is B. This is because a perfect square is an integer that is the square of another integer. For instance, 9 is a perfect square/square number because it equals 3^2 [3*3]. And in this case when B is square rooted, you then get the value that makes it a perfect square.

I’m pretty sure, but I’ll check on it also. It’s been awhile .
