If I were to solve an equation such as 14x-3=24x+29, would I start inversing the 24x or the 14x first? I have been doing the lower variable number first this whole time but I seem to get it wrong since it's supposed to be negative.

24-14=10x
3+29=32
32/10
X=3.2

it really does matter how you put it out the big number first like 29-14 make more sense then 14-29=-10
