Explain the meaning of this quote, " But in a larger sense we cannot dedicate--we cannot consecrate--we cannot hallow this ground. The brave men, living, and dead who struggled here, who have consecrated it, far above our poor power to add to detract."

Answer:

Due to this fact, the soldiers declared it sacred to such a degree they couldn't: "The ground already was dedicated and hallowed by those who took part in the battle, especially those who died."
