Answer: line d is y=1/7x+3

Explanation: An equation of a line that is perpendicular to and equation consists of a negative reciprocal for the slope and a different y-intercept. In this problem the slope is 7x. So the negative reciprocal is -1/7x . Then we need to find the y-intercept using the given point (7,4)

To do this we need to use point slope form.
Y-y2=m(x-x2)
Now we need to plug in the point and slope into this formula.
Y-4=1/7(x-7)
Convert that to slope intercept form by distributing and then isolating y.

Y-4=1/7(x-7)
Y-4=1/7x-1
Y=1/7x+3
