Answer: a) -4, -2, 0 b) 14

Explanation:

To find any term, we plug the number into the equation for n.

a)

1st term => 2(1) - 6 = 2 - 6 = -4

2nd term => 2(2) - 6 = 4 - 6 = -2

3rd term => 2(3) - 6 = 6 - 6 = 0

b)

10th term => 2(10) - 6 = 20 - 6 = 14
