slope formula:

(y2-y1)/(x2-x1)

using this formula:

(-3-1)/(3-1)

-4/2

-2 ........this is slope also refereed as (m) in short form.

Use the formula:

y - y1 = m( x - x1)

using the formula:

y - 1 = -2( x - 1)

y -1 = -2x + 2

y = -2x +3
