a certain bacteria doubles every 2 seconds. Starting from a single bacterium, how many bacteria will be there after 20 seconds?​

Answer: 1024

Step-by-step explanation: Since there's only 1 bacteria at first, we can just do 2^x. x being the amount of time divided by the amount of time between each time it doubles. Since the bacteria doubles every 2 seconds, and 20/2 = 10 we get 2^10 which is 1024.
