How would we be able to eat food upside down? What muscle/organ is responsible for this​

Peristalsis (the contraction and relaxation of muscles) pushes the food down the esophagus, even when you’re upside-down. To keep food moving in the right direction, your digestive tract has special muscles called sphincters.
