Read the poem below then answer the question that follows.

And My Heart Soars
by Chief Dan George
The beauty of the trees,
the softness of the air,
the fragrance of the grass speaks to me.
The summit of the mountain,
the thunder of the sky,
The rhythm of the sea,
speaks to me.
The faintness of the stars,
the freshness of the morning,
the dewdrop on the flower,
speaks to me.
The strength of the fire,
the taste of salmon,
the trail of the sun,
and the life that never goes away,
they speak to me
And my heart soars.
In the space below, identify three different poetic devices used in this poem. For each answer, copy and paste the line (or lines)
that use the poetic device, identify which device is being used, and how it is being used. Each answer should look something
like this (note that the example provided does NOT come from the poem above):
"How they tinkle, tinkle, tinkle," This line uses onomatopoeia because the word tinkle imitates the sound a bell makes.
