Hey there!

-6(-3 - 8b) - 8

DISTRIBUTE -6 WITHIN the PARENTHESES

= -6(-3) - 6(-8b) - 8

= 6(3) + 6(8b) - 8

= 18 + 48b - 8

COMBINE the LIKE TERMS (if they are any)

= (18 - 8) + (48b)

(We could combine anything with “48b” because it didn’t have any like terms)

= 10 + 48b

= 48b + 10

Therefore, your answer should be: 48b + 10

Good luck on your assignment and enjoy your day!
