Hey there!

6(2x - 6) + 2(13 - x) = 10
6(2x) + 6(-6) + 2(13) + 2(-x) = 10

12x - 36 + 26 - 2x = 10

10x - 10 = 10

ADD 10 to BOTH SIDES

10x - 10 + 10 = 10 + 10

SIMPLIFY IT

10x = 10 + 10

10x = 20

DIVIDE 10 to BOTH SIDES

10x/10 = 20/10
SIMPLIFY IT

x = 20/10

x = 2

Therefore, your answer should be:

Option D. x = 2

Good luck on your assignment & enjoy your day!
