1) Start by plotting (0,-5) because the starting value is -5.

2) Next, you can substitute 1 into the equation to get your y when x is 1.

Y=5|1|-5
Absolute value makes negative number positive. Note: Doesn’t turn positive number negative

Y= 5*1-5

Y= 5-5

Y = 0

Then plot (1, 0)


3) Absolute value will mirror off the y-axis. So you can plot (-1,0). You can also substitute more Xs if you need more points of the graph.
