Hey there!

(x - 5)^2

= (x - 5)(x - 5)

= x(x) + x(-5) - 5(x) - 5(-5)

= x(x) - 5(x) - 5(x) - 5(-5)

= x^2 - 5x - 5x + 25

COMBINE the LIKE TERMS

= x^2 - 10x + 25

Therefore, your answer is:

x^2 - 10x + 25

Good luck on your assignment & enjoy your day!
