Brian is puzzled. Lately a couple of his grades have been lower than he is used to. He reads until the words are blurry. Then he has to stop because his head aches. How would you advise Brian?

Answer:

These are symptoms of a migraine or low blood sugar. I would say that he needs to take a break and try to increase glucose levels by eating 15 grams of fast-acting carbohydrates, such as hard candy, honey, syrup, fruit juice, or sugar. Then wait about 10-20 minutes before getting back to studying. Also to try to limit his study time, because studying for to long and being stressed is most likely what caused this.

Hope it helps! =D

Answer:

I would advise him to take a break every now and then because he keeps studying until he feels tired and dizzy and he can't focus on the work.
