Why does the water move into the egg

Answer: You know how when a bird is in an egg it must breathe somehow right? Well, there are very small, microscopic holes in the egg allowing air to travel inside so that the chick doesn't die. When you boil an egg, you would normally see that little bubbles emerge from the egg, this is another example of why water moves into an egg.
