Answer:

1) blue car 28.4 miles per gallon

2) miles per gallon

Explanation:

In order to get the unit rate, we must divide the miles by the gallons so

Blue car: 33.5 / 1.25 = 28.4

Red car: 21.6 / 0.8 = 27

The blue car travels a greater distance on 1 gallon since 28.4 > 27
