4. What do the words "offensive" and "obscene" mean? How are they alike, and how are they different?

How do these terms relate to censorship of books?

Answer: Offensive is saying or do something that causes an triggered emotion like saying "your cat is ugly" could be offensive. Obscene is really just another word for offensive that could be considered "disgusting" example saying a cuss word in front of little children.

Relates to the censorship of books because authority believes in appropriate, shouldn't offend other people :)
