When we reflect a point along the x-axis, the x coordinate stays the same BUT the y coordinate is negated.

A point (x,y) becomes (x, -y)

et us apply this rule to the points J, A, and R. SThis is shown below:


\begin{gathered} J(3,3)\rightarrow J^(\prime)(3,-3) \\ A(5,4)\rightarrow A^(\prime)(5,-4) \\ R(4,2)\rightarrow R^(\prime)(4,-2) \end{gathered}
