$(x+2)/(2)\ge-7-(x)/(2)$

Multiply both sides by 2:

$x+2\ge-14-x$

Add x to both sides:

$2x+2\ge-14$

Subtract 2 from both sides:

$2x\ge-16$

Divide both sides by 2:
