tan\theta=\frac{side\text{ opposite to }\theta}{side\text{ adjacent of }\theta}

Substituting the values,


\begin{gathered} tanX=(YZ)/(XY) \\ tanX=(21)/(20) \end{gathered}

ence, the value of tanX is 21/290.
