EXPLANATION

The first equation is a line with the following slope-intercept form:

4x+4y=-8

Subtracting -4x to both sides:

4y=-4x-8

Dividing both sides by 4:

y=-(4)/(4)x-(8)/(4)

Simplifying:

y=-x-2

The slope is -1 and the y-intercept is -2

Applying the same reasoning to the second equation we get:

y=-x+3

3

Now, we can write and graph both linear equation
