A clock face has a radius of 8 inches. What is the area of the clock face. Round your number to nearest hundredth.

we know that the radius is 8, so we can just plug it into the circle area formula which is

area = (pi) r^2

you plug in 8 for r (r stands for radius)

8^2 is 64

64 times pi is 200.96 (because pi=3.14)
