Explanation: First split the compound into individual ions and assign oxidation states. You can give oxidation states with the help of the image provided below. Just cross-multiply the subscript. Every compound is in the format (Cation Anion). You will assign a positive charge to the cation and a negative charge to the anion. The subscript is the number of cations or anions present.
