Explanation:

1. For now, let's leave the
g^(-6) to the side and just worry about the
(h^8)/(h^2).

2. When you apply the exponent rule you should have learned in class, we know that when you divide two bases with exponents, the exponents subtract. So, you can subtract 8 - 2, and then the greater digit's place in the fraction stays. So, since
h^8\\ is the greater number (and it's in the numerator), you put the
h^6 in the numerator as well.
