WE WILL USE THE FORMULA OF CALCULATING GRADIENT

m = (y2 - y1)/(x2 - x1) \\ m = (j - 1)/(9 - 6) \\ (1)/(3) = (j - 1)/(3)

I WILL USE CROSS MULTIPLICATION

3(j - 1) = 3 \\ (3(j - 1))/(3) = (3)/(3) \\ j - 1 = 1 \\ j = 1 + 1 \\ j = 2

ATTACHED IS THE SOLUTION

BE ALERT I INSERTED THE KNOWN VALUES IN THE FORMULA OF FINDING THE GRADIENT.
