Is this ok for a children’s book? (I made it!)
A life being brought out to this world is a gift! A little blue bird was born in a loved, lively home with its beautiful green grass and trees. Stanley is his name! It was in the evening that he takes his everyday walk. As he was walking he saw his reflection in a creek, he saw how the clouds danced like loving flowers in season. Laughing and yelling was heard from behind him, it was the other little birds playing. He wanted to play with them but they all yelled at him to go away! Stanley was being bullied because he was all blue, different from all the other pure white birds they were. They didn’t want to be friends with Stanley because he looked different. He wished he could be just like them. He then remembered a myth his mom used to tell as a story called the Lantern of Wishes. He decided to go make his wish come true! Once he found where it was, he could see the beautiful, fiery light growing as he came closer, closer and closer. He made his wish! But…it didn’t come true! The Lantern of Wishes spoke to Stanley and said, “You shall not change yourself for you are different, different is good and is what makes us stand out.” Stanley then had given it thought that the Lantern of Wishes is right! So he flew back to the creek where now it’s night and the stars shine so bright. He sees the lantern in the reflection in the creek high above the sky. A little bird flys as he sees the other little birds follow him to say goodnight for the first time.
