f(x) = 3 {x}^(2) - x + 5

thus ;

f( - 3) = 3 * ({ - 3})^(2) - ( - 3) + 5

f( - 3) = 3 * 9 + 3 + 5

f( - 3) = 27 + 8

f( - 3) = 35

_____________________________________________

f(4) = 3 * ({4})^(2) - (4) + 5

f(4) = 3 * 16 - 4 + 5

f(4) = 48 + 1

f(4) = 49

_____________________________________________

So :

2f( - 3) = 2 * 35 = 70

And ,

- f(4) = - 49

so :

2f( - 3) - f(4) =

70 - 49 =
