area increase by ( n squared.)

Explanation:

consider a square whose sides are 3 by 3.Its area will be 9. if its length becomes twice as long,i.e 6 by 6 ,the area is 36.The ratio between the areas is 1:4 ,hence does the area.In short ,its area increases by 4 times.
