Answer:

It is given

4x+3y=24

We can also write it as

3y=24−4x

y=324−4x

Substituting x=0 in the given equation

y=324−4(0)

So we get

y=324

By division

y=8

Substituting x=3 in the given equation

y=324−4(3)

So we get

y=312

BY division

y=4

Answer:

  • f(g(x)) = 2x - 5

Explanation:

Given:

  • f(x) = 2x + 1

and

  • g(x) = x - 3

Find the composite function f(g(x)), substitute g(x) with its value:

  • f(g(x)) = f(x - 3) = 2(x - 3) + 1 = 2x - 6 + 1 = 2x - 5
