Given the coordinates of two points on the line, use the slope formula to determine the slope of the line. The slope formula is the quotient of the difference in y-values and the difference in x-values.

find 2 points. for me i would choose (0,4) and (2,-2). the formula for gradient is (y1-y2)/(x1-x2). so it would be (4--2)/(0-2)=-3.
slope is -3!!
