4. Test for starch - turns blue black if present
5. Test for reducing sugars - mix solution with Benedict’s reagent and put in water bath for ~30 min, greater colour change means more sugars present
6. Mass is scalar quantity relying on magnitude only as it is the measure of matter within an object, whilst weight is how strongly an object is pulled towards an object of greater mass due to gravity
