and a duration of 0.2 s. The mass of the ball is 0.5 kg. What was the velocity of the ball?

F = ma

Therefore:

F = m(v/t)

- The force is 50 N

- The mass is 0.5 kg

- Time is 0.2 seconds

50 = 0.5(v/0.2)

Solve for v and you get the velocity of the ball after it leaves the racket.

Velocity = 20 m/s
