Explanation:

-6+6x^3+17x-16x^2

Standard Form: 6x^3 - 16x^2 + 17x - 6

Degree: 3

Leading coefficient: 6

constant term: -6

12x^2 + 36x + 8x^3 - 36

Standard Form: 8x^3 + 12x^2 + 36x - 36

Degree: 3

Leading coefficient: 8

Constant terms: -36

-9x^3 + 2x^4 - 26x + 21x^2 + 7

Standard Form: 2x^4 - 9x^3 + 21x^2 - 26x + 7

Degree: 4

Leading coefficient: 2

Constant term: 7

Explanation:

this just means to apply the definitions.

there is nothing special to find or think about.

your teacher even told you what to look for.

the standard form just means to sort the terms from the highest exponent of the variable to the lowest and then the constant (which is actually the x⁰ term, as anything to the power of 0 is 1).

1 .

6x³ - 16x² + 17x - 6

3rd degree

6 is leading coefficient

-6 is the constant

2.

8x³ + 12x² + 36x - 36

3rd degree

8 is leading coefficient

-36 is the constant

3.

2x⁴ - 9x³ + 21x² - 26x + 7

4th degree

2 is leading coefficient

7 is the constant

so, what was the problem here for you ?

please let me know, what you don't understand.
