No I do not agree with this. Following a tectonic hazard, deaths, injuries, loss of water, electricity and collapsed buildings can occur as an effect. Therefore immediate responses are very important as emergency services will need to act quickly to help the injured and temporary housing will need to be set up for the homeless who lost their homes during the tectonic hazard. Without immediate responses there would be many more deaths. However, long term responses are also very important as since many buildings and homes would have collapsed due to the tectonic hazard it would take time for them to be rebuilt and it takes time for the country to recover so therefore I believe both immediate and long term responses are vital but I do not consider long term responses more important than immediate responses.
